This original oil painting of a black and white cow has a dark green background and some earth colored muted yellows. Signed with a pop of a slightly bolder green. The frame is 6” wide and 5-1/8” tall. The back has 2 hooks for hanging on your wall.

This new series that I’ve only started in 2023 is all about old frames that I find at antique stores and secondhand shops. Since the frames are usually odd sizes I cut high quality Ampersand hardboard to fit each frame. I adhere Claessens 15DP linen canvas to the boards. These found frames get a good cleaning and I usually have to restore them with some wood stain or gold leafing or paint to bring them back to their glory days.

Please realize the frames may not be absolutely perfect in the end but they, in no way, take away from your new oil painting!

All of my oil paintings are finished with a semi gloss varnish for protection.
